Learn how to teach yoga to kids. This workshop introduces participants to the basic principles of the Yoga Rascals program which has been taught successfully in schools, libraries, yoga studios, recreation centers, etc. for more than 20 years. Scroll down for program details.

What you will learn in this workshop
Developed in the classroom in close cooperation with students and teachers, the Yoga Rascals program presents a unique approach to making yoga accessible to children of all ages. Our method is creative, collaborative, innovative, and imaginative. It is kid-tested, parent-approved, teacher-acclaimed, and lots of fun! In our hands-on training in a small group setting you will learn:
- A variety of yoga poses along with kid-friendly instructions
- Breathing exercises suitable for children
- Yoga stories & games
- Yoga Rascals original yoga poems
- Relaxation stories
- Mindfulness activities
- How to teach Yoga Rascals class plans
- How to create your own class plans
- Classroom strategies
- How to be an enthusiastic fun kids yoga teacher
